With more than 40 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction, I bring a depth of knowledge to every home inspection that simply cannot be learned in a classroom. My career began on the job site and grew into founding and operating Havens Contracting, where I managed every aspect of the business — from estimating and contracts to hiring, building custom homes, room additions, and full kitchen and bathroom remodels. I have spent decades not just understanding how homes are built, but understanding how and why they fail.

That foundation shapes everything I do as a home inspector today.

My mission is straightforward: I inspect every home as if I were the one buying it. That means I don't cut corners, I don't rush through a checklist, and I don't leave you with a report full of jargon you can't decipher.
